SRI LANKA: New book on media law and policy released
The Asian Human Rights Commission wishes to inform you about the release of the first comprehensive study that analyses the evolution of the media in post-colonial Sri Lanka. Published by Sage, the book, edited by William Crawley, David Page, and Kishali Pinto-Jayawardena is titled Embattled Media: Democracy, Governance and Reform in Sri Lanka. Contributors to the publication include experienced practitioners in public law, analysts, media academics, and leading journalists and broadcasters.
