The Asian Human Rights Commission is forwarding this PowerPoint presentation created by The Women’s UN Report Network (WUNRN) on the issue of acid attacks on women and girls.
This is a growing problem in several countries around the world but particularly in Asian countries, including Pakistan and Bangladesh, where gender bias and inequality is most common.
This is a well conducted study which provides good documentation of acid throwing incidents.
