The Asian Human Rights Commission (AHRC) has received an updated list of items to deal with the aftermath of the tsunami which was declared by the Sri Lankan Ministry of Health Care (MoH). For your information, the AHRC attaches the list below.

Central Operations and Coordination Unit in the MoH headed by the Additional Secretary of Health at

Coordinators have been appointed for key areas such as medical supplies, transport, communicable diseases, etc. The Unit will be operational 24 hours a day and will coordinate the health sector response. All other agencies have been requested to inform the Unit as to their activities. Information will be updated on the Ministry website.
